About Us

Stag & Timber was founded on the belief that meaningful architecture should feel grounded, enduring, and deeply personal.

Each project is approached through a careful balance of design vision, land stewardship, and practical understanding — creating homes intended to serve generations rather than trends.

Studio Story

Stag & Timber was founded from a belief that architecture should feel grounded, enduring, and closely tied to the land and lives it serves.

The studio’s work is shaped by a deep respect for timeless materials, thoughtful proportion, and the quiet details that give a home lasting character over time. Rather than chasing trends, each project is approached through careful listening, measured design, and a commitment to creating places that feel personal, lasting, and deeply considered.

Drawing from years of experience in high-end residential design, Stag & Timber combines traditional architectural thinking with modern visualization and planning tools to guide projects from first sketch through construction.

About our Founder

Brad Keene, Founder & Principal

Brad Keene is a Texas-based licenced architect focused on custom homes, estates, renovations, and land-driven residential projects.

He holds a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Land Development from Texas A&M University, bringing together architectural design, planning, and long-term site thinking through a single integrated approach.

With experience spanning luxury residential design, master planning, visualization, and construction coordination, Brad approaches each project with both creative vision and practical understanding.

Outside the studio, he is deeply involved in family life, youth mentorship, and Scout leadership — values that continue to shape his belief that meaningful architecture should serve generations, not just immediate needs.

Through Stag & Timber, Brad focuses on creating homes and properties that feel timeless, personal, and deeply connected to the land around them.

“We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with Brad. From day one, he brought so much knowledge, creativity, and thoughtfulness to the process, making it feel exciting and enjoyable every step of the way.”
